River City Women's Weekend

We're excited to announce our Women's Weekend entitled Here is Our God: A Weekend For Women, Not About Women happening June 6th and 7th here in Fargo.  The purpose behind the weekend away is to continue fostering relationships between women, fighting for their identity in Christ, and clarifying the function of each person plays in the outward-focused mission of their group.  Our hope is to offer this weekend as a means to continue propping up our Missional Communities as the primary context for discipleship, care, and mission.  Lord willing, time together in MC will be all the more fruitful, transformative, and honoring to God as we see more of his character and nature.    

Registration begins Friday at 4:30 PM at the Comfort Suites, followed by dinner and continued interaction between women in MC together as well as across all MC's.  The focus of the time together at the Comfort Suites, having dinner and spending the night there, is connection and community.  

On Saturday, we turn our focus to discipleship including two plenary sessions from the 2012 Gospel Coalition National Women's Conference, workshops, testimonies, and a Panel Discussion/Q&A Session.  Time will be intentionally given to discuss the content together with other women in your MC throughout the day.

The total cost for the conference is $65, and you can register here through May 14th.  Please register by the 14th in order to communicate the proper attendance numbers to the hotel and caterers.
