- How long do you think this Missional Community will exist? What role does godly wisdom play in keeping our discipleship going?
Discussion/Application Questions
- Read Proverbs 4:1-9...Who was Solomon’s father? Who intentionally taught him? What were his strengths and struggles? Where do we see him exhibiting repentance and faith? Why is repentance and faith necessary as we disciple our families and one another in MC? Who here would like some help and encouragement in how they disciple their family? How does the group as a whole play a part in this? Where have we seen this in our group?
- Read Proverbs 4:14...Why is “path” such a good word to describe the lifestyle of the wicked? How would the word “path” describe your past life apart from Christ? How would the word “path” describe your life now in Christ? What well-worn paths of sin do you still struggle with? How can looking to Christ help in your fight? What role does the Spirit play in your sanctification?
- Read Proverbs 4:23...What is Solomon getting at here? What principle comes to the surface? Why be vigilant? What do you need to sacrifice for the sake of vigilance? What does being vigilant change in your life?
